When I was in high school, I use to be in the AV room listening to the classic Caedmon recordings (on vinyl) with the voice talents of Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, James Mason, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and many others narrating classic abridgements of classic stories.The Caedmon imprint was one of quality…I spent many hours listening to stories and tales that enthralled me. What I realized was my favorites were the horror stories. After I left school, I still remembered the thrills of listening to these classic works told by talented voice actors

I put this six cd collection in my players and time turned back. I was reliving my past and listening to the magic of the words. It is amazing to listen to a great horror story in the fall. It does not have to be Halloween to enjoy this voices. This collection is great to get get your children to listen to classics that they may never read..or listen to tales of classic horror you have not read in years
